As a dojo coach at TASK Lancaster City, his expertise in martial arts, particularly since 1995. He holds rank of 4th Dan and is a USA Karate official. His extensive experience in martial arts will likely make him an effective and knowledgeable coach for students at TASK.

In addition to his martial arts background, Tila Chan Dhimal is also a certified PA math teacher and a Nepali language medical interpreter. He has served the community since exile in various roles, such as being a math teacher from 2003 to 2005, and later working as a science resource teacher in CARITAS Nepal's base office in Damak Jhapa, Nepal, which was the implementing partner of UNHCR from 2008 to April 2001. This shows his dedication to education and community service.

Furthermore, Tila Chan Dhimal has actively participated in professional development workshops focused on learning goals, classroom management, student motivation, and engaging learning activities.
